Rheumatology

This service comprises of consultant rheumatologists, nurse practitioner (NP), Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC), advanced trainee registrars and part-time administrator.

We see patients with a range of inflammatory rheumatological conditions in an out-patient setting as well as in-patients as required.

Our out-patient service consists of daily clinics with weekly biologics clinics, and multidisciplinary specialist clinics.

We also collaborate with the paediatric rheumatology service to provide a multidisciplinary clinic to enable children with rheumatological conditions to transition smoothly to the adult service.

We regularly liaise with other services within the hospital as required to ensure patients receive the most appropriate care to result in the best possible outcome.

Patients are cared for by our multidisciplinary team and can access ongoing support, advice and education through our dedicated telephone helpline and email service.
