Gold Coast University Hospital haemodialysis unit works in partnership with Robina haemodialysis unit.
Provides acute dialysis and plasma exchange for all our dialysis patient population when required. We provide haemodialysis to 12 chronic chairs and 4 acute.
Our aim is to provide high quality and safe care to those with end stage renal disease. This is achieved with skilled staff, patient and family philosophy, patient focused care, encouraging patient participation where able and involvement with our multidisciplinary team.
The Robina Renal Dialysis Unit has 20 chairs plus 2 self care chairs. In addition there are 2 self care chairs in which the patients are cared for by Home Therapies Unit.
