Complex Management Unit

The Complex Management Unit (CMU) on Level One of H Block at Gold Coast University Hospital provides care for patients with complex medical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. The unit supports safe discharge planning and coordination with external agencies and aged care providers.

Across four levels, H Block is Gold Coast Health’s 70-bed in-patient unit, located adjacent to Gold Coast University Hospital and is accessible via a linkway from the main hospital.

Together, these services provide our first dedicated inpatient older adult capability in a modern, purpose-built environment.
