Skills, qualifications and requirements
- University qualifications are required for most allied health professions
- Professional registration or certification is required for many roles
- Vocational education training (VET) is required for some but not all roles and is valued, particularly for support roles such as Clinical Assistants, with incentives available for relevant qualifications
- Strong communication, teamwork, critical thinking and time management skills
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic healthcare environment.
